Food sensitivity? There’s a holiday baked good for that
If you’re one of those people with a sensitivity to gluten, dairy or eggs – or if you’re someone whose stomach doesn’t do so well with rich, high-fat foods – then you know the holidays are difficult because the temptation to indulge is everywhere.
But December decadence doesn’t have to mean digestive misery. Below is a handful of holiday dessert recipes by some of my favourite bloggers and chefs who eliminate not-so-hot-on-the-gut ingredients while maintaining a high standard of deliciousness. And what better way to wash down your baked goods than with a glass of So Nice Noel Nog, the soy milk substitute that tastes a LOT like the real deal without, of course, the dairy and eggs. Mmm. Happy holiday baking!
